Gartland Leads Changes to the York Habitat Board of Directors

York Habitat for Humanity announced that board member Paul Gartland of York has been selected as the non-profit’s new Board of Directors President.  Gartland, Sr. V.P., Regional Manager at Lamar Advertising, will also chair the Board’s Executive Committee.

Gartland, a five-year York Habitat Board member, replaces Michael Houska as Board President.  Houska will remain on the board for York Habitat for Humanity.

Moving into the second position, Board Vice-president, is Jeremey Sterner.  Sterner also chairs the organization’s ReStore Committee and currently works at Heritage Valley Credit Union.

Other recent additions to the York Habitat board include Patrick Nelson of Nexterus, Inc. who will head the Volunteer Recruitment Committee; Wagman Construction’s Michael Konieczka, who will chair the Development Committee; and Douglas Cassel of Graham Packaging Company, LP.
