West Princess Street Build with Johnson Controls: 415 & 417 West Princess Street

Future homeowner Judy was born in New York City and moved to York, PA when she was 15 years old. When she became pregnant with her daughter, Yudelka, she was forced to live in a homeless shelter. Judy has overcome many hardships to become a Certified Nursing Assistant/Medical Assistant/ EKG Technician/Phlebotomist at Margret Moul Home and is close to earning her Associates Degree in Social Work.

A new two story duplex was constructed at 415 & 417 West Princess Street in York. Each unit has 3 bedrooms and one bathroom. One unit (#417) of the duplex was primarily funded by employees at Johnson Controls in York. The group began fundraising in 2009 to sponsor a home, and has raised $65,000!
