Non-Construction

There are many ways you can get involved with Habitat that don’t involve working on a construction site! Non-construction volunteers are always needed to help in the office, work with Habitat families, plan events, and serve on committees. You can even volunteer from home!

Construction

You don’t have to know a thing about construction to help build a Habitat Home! All you need is enthusiasm and willingness to learn. We provide the tools, training, and encouragement and have projects for all skill levels and interests! We build year-round on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and every Saturday from 8:00 am – 2:00 pm. Construction volunteers must be at least 16 years of age.

Jill Bollinger

York Habitat is thrilled to recognize Jill Bollinger as our Volunteer in the Spotlight this month.  Jill is serving her third, 3-year term on our Board of Directors.  She has a true heart for the Habitat Mission, and it shows when she works alongside our Habitat families.  Jill has volunteered on our construction sites, served on our Development Committee, acted as our Gala Chair, and now sits on the Family Services Committee as the Committee Chair.  We are so grateful for her giving heart, and know that we could not do what we do without her.  Thank you Jill!
